Samantha Grant, Filmmaker, journalist and educator tells the story of disgraced New York Times journalist Jayson Blair through her film "A Fragile Trust". Described by Grant as 'the most infamous plagiarist of our time' Blair was at at the heart of the scandal which rocked the world respected newspaper in 2003. He was discovered to have plagiarised the work of other reporters as well as fabricating details in dozens of published stories. Featuring exclusive interviews with Blair, the documentary explores the themes of power, ethics and accountability in journalism. Samantha Grant presents excerpts from the film and hosts a live question and answer session.
