Teachers know that a good essay starts with a solid thesis. A quality thesis will focus a student’s ideas and guide the organization of their writing. However, with plagiarism on the rise, the challenge for many is to support students in writing a solid thesis while challenging students with writing prompts that discourage plagiarism.

Previously, she was a Teacher, AVID Coordinator, and Administrator at Monte Vista High School, where she earned multiple teaching awards. Myrtice has collaborated with teachers to increase the AP participation and pass rate. She also collaborated with Dr. Ann Johns to develop and implement the AVID College Readiness curriculum and training materials.
