Where Next? Integrity for the " Real World"

The academic integrity movement, finally, seems to be flourishing. It’s an exciting time as we work together toward the common goal of making academic cheating the exception and academic integrity the norm. And it’s a noble goal. But is it a sufficient goal? In this keynote, Dr. Bertram-Gallant challenges our focus on “academic integrity”, the messages we are conveying (and not conveying), and the limitations of the conversation. Tricia proposes a new way of framing why integrity matters in the academy and beyond – for our students and for our world.
